The watch design was allegedly based by the control buttons in a Bentley car, having a large, distinguishing case and a selection of unique dials. It features the legendary ‘30-second’ chronograph where the centre hand spins around the dial in 30 seconds instead of the usual 60 seconds, the reason being to increase accuracy when reading to 1/8th of second.

 

As timing was an important factor when designing this model, it was equipped with a variable tachometer, allowing its owner to measure average speed, speed attained and the distance covered.

From a technical perspective, every watch in the Breitling for Bentley Motors collection has a Breitling Calibre 25B movement, a date window and a COSC certified chronometer. The model has a screw-locked crown, rotating pinion bezel with a sapphire crystal that has been glare-proofed. The case is either steel or yellow gold and is water resistant to depths of 100 meters.
