Yachtmaster

This model can be considered unusual for Rolex, in that the basis for the watch was a copy of another watch. The 1662 Yachtmaster was introduced in 1993 and is essentially a slightly modified version of its own Rolex Submariner model, only in 18ct gold. The bezel was of pure gold and the watch was faced with a cream coloured dial (instead of the Submariner blue or black dial).
